Hevea seeds were stored imbibed at the temperatures of 10, 22 and 27C. After each month of storage, changes in percentage germination, respiration rate and leachate conductivity were observed. There was a decrease in percentage germination, seedling height, seedlingdry weight, respiration rate and an increase in leachate conductivity as duration of storage increased. Loss of membrane integrity was suggested as one of the causes of deterioration of seeds during storage.
